Let's start with the basics. This takes about 60 seconds.
How do your grades stack up?
Enter the number of AP or IB classes in core academic subjects you have taken (or plan to take) in each year. This helps measure course rigor against what colleges typically expect from admitted students.
Enter your highest score for each test (leave blank if not taken)
Select the highest level of academic recognition you've received. No awards? No problem — just select "None" and move on.
Rate your extracurriculars and involvement as honestly as you can. Think about how your teachers, your school counselor, and any outsider would perceive you in a teacher recommendation or equivalent. Do your best not to inflate your self-assessment. This is difficult to do, but try to view yourself from a third-party perspective.
Search for colleges, check the ones you're interested in, then hit "Run Evaluator" to see your chances. Aim for 8–15 schools for a balanced list.
Note: These results are based on information that colleges self-report. It is only as accurate as that information and our current algorithm, which we back test constantly and rigorously, but this is still software. It is not a crystal ball. Consult your college advisor with any questions.
